The Vocational Training Project
The Women's Education Partnership recently began to offer vocational training scholarships, to both men and women from displaced or disadvantaged background.
We are especially interested in students who wish to train as midwives or community health workers, but we have also supported those seeking to study carpentry, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
These scholarships cover tuition fees, registration fees and, where necessary, accommodation costs.
Above are the three young women who were selected for training at The Health Science Institute Juba in November 2013. These women came form the Kimu community. They are making good progress and they are doing practical work at Kimu as part of their training.
