WEP Welcomes a new Trustee

We are delighted to welcome a new Trustee to Women’s Education Partnership, Rosalind Stewart.  Rosalind brings a passion for education and the environment, alongside a wealth of experience to help drive forward our mission to empower women through education.

Rosalind Stewart, bio:

I have been interested in foreign affairs and how to help others for as long as I can remember. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but have lived with my English husband here in London since 1989.  I have a BA in European History from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and spent a year abroad at the London School of Economics in 1983/84. I also have an MBA from the University of Virginia, and, much later in 2020, was awarded an MSc in Global Politics from Birkbeck, University of London. Having worked at Southbank International School in London for many years as a university advisor, I retired to begin my ‘third career’ in volunteering, and am now active in several environmental groups in north London, including one that is hoping to boost biodiversity. I greatly enjoy working with young people, especially to aid them in their educational journey, and my experience in guiding our three adult children through their schooling and university pathway was exceptionally rewarding.
